The slowest part of a calibration isn't the calibration

Before a tech can calibrate anything, someone has to work out what's actually on the car. Which cameras. Which radar. Where they sit, and what the manufacturer requires to bring them back to spec.

Year, make and model won't tell you. Two vehicles off the same line can carry different sensor packages depending on trim and options, and getting it wrong means a tech standing next to a vehicle they can't finish.

So it gets looked up by hand: OEM portals, service manuals, a call to the dealer. It happens on every job, it happens before the truck rolls, and it's the part nobody bills for.

One VIN, decoded into the actual build

ADAS Safe wired two CarsXE endpoints into their workflow: the Specifications API and the Images API. A VIN goes in. What comes back is the vehicle's factory build, including its safety-system configuration, along with images of the vehicle itself.

That data doesn't sit in a tab for someone to read. It runs inside their own systems. It's the vehicle layer underneath the calibration work, and it feeds Track, their software, where repair history plus VIN data automatically determine which calibrations a given vehicle requires.

Would this work for my shop?

What does it cost?

Plans are published, not quoted. See our pricing page for current plans and rates. You're only charged for lookups that return data.

Do I need a developer?

Not to use it. The dashboard does single and bulk lookups and exports to CSV or JSON, which is enough for a service manager working a list of VINs.

You do need one to put the data inside your own software, the way ADAS Safe feeds it into Track. That's an integration, and it's a developer's job.

Will it cover the vehicles I actually see?

US coverage is the deepest, which is the market ADAS Safe runs in. VIN decoding extends well past the US if you need it.

Worth knowing up front: we don't carry OEM maintenance schedules. If that's the requirement, we're not the fit.

How long until I know if it works?

Get a sandbox key and run your own VINs through it. No card, no call. The point is to test it on vehicles you actually see rather than take our word for the coverage.
